New Stash on the way!!! :)

I was so tempted this weekend with the Nashville Market releases I couldn't take anymore so today at lunch I called my favorite shop and placed an order.  I ordered the new Shepherds Bush things of course, I just can't help myself.  Besides I love talking to all the ladies there they are so nice and helpful!  So on the stitching front I planed to finish up my February stitching this past weekend.  I was not as successful as I would have liked.  I did however finish one stocking by Blackbird.  I started the second one.  But last night I was so tired I could hardly hold my eyes open long enough to have dinner.  So today at lunch I did work on it a little bit.  So maybe the carry over will just be one stocking.  I will finish it before I start CC March cottage.  I will just have to more diligent in March.

Amazing!

It is amazing what a few drugs(antibiotics) can do for you.  I feel so much better today.  Except I will not meet my February stitching goal.  So I am a little down about that.  I did read an inspiring blog this morning so hopefully I can shake it off quickly.  I am going to try very hard to stay home and stitch this weekend.  I need some stitching time.  Nothing I can't stand more than having the stitching mojo working and feel so bad you don't stitch. I have nothing new finished, nothing new started but I did get my CC March cottage in the mail.  So I am ready to go on that one.  I also have a couple of other projects sitting in the wings hoping to see the light of day soon.  My house has been pretty boring.  What about yours?

I do want to say Congratulations to Sheryl For being 3 years cancer free.  She is a wonderful kind hearted person and deserves so much goodness to be showered on her!!!

Monday Monday

I am sad to see the weekend go by so quickly.  I was having great stitching mojo.  I finished CC's Februray and started BB's Violet stocking.  I'm about halfway through the stocking with high hopes of finishing it tonight.  I was going to work on SB New Year's scissor fob at lunch today.  I have had it in my purse for a couple of weeks now, you know just in case I am somewhere and I get time to stitch.  But it did not come with a needle and for some reason I wasn't carrying any extra stuff.  This means I must rethink my stash I carry aroung with me.  I must put together a little stitching kit that I carry with me everywhere.  I am kidding.  I just browsed other blogs.  I can't wait to get home so I can finish the stocking and maybe start the next one.  I have really been itching to start Raise the Roof's Love Laundry.  I have had it kited forever and for some reason it has been calling out to me 'stitch me, stitch me'.  I'm off to stitch!

little set back

Starting with the New Year I set goals, not many but a few.  I sat down last night and looked at my progress.  The weight I lost two pounds and trying to move more eat less and the right stuff. Good.  Positive thinking about other but mainly about me.  I had a huge set back early this week but I am trying to bounce back and dwell on it. Not bad.  I was going to finish projects, I can't complain because I have finished seven this year and about to finish the eight later tonight.  Good. And finally the finishing weekend, one a month.  I didn't do it in January and have not done it yet in February.  I'm thinking I should do the next two weekends and then at least I am caught up.  What do you think?  Sound like a plan? I do have to work a half day in the morning but I really don't have much else planed at the moment.  I could still get a lot done in a day and a half.  Maybe?  If I do I'll post pictures.

What a week

My week started pretty nice.  I wasn't going to have time for stitching for a few days, that was okay and then POW!  Tuesday took this huge nose dive into to the pits.  Wednesday followed.  Today, Thursday not as bad. Just an okay day.  I get off early today.  So my plan is to go grocery shopping and then hit the stitching.  I have not stitched since Sunday.  I think I am having DTs.  I'm off.

More time please.

I have been thinking of things I need to do tonight and the more I think about it the less time I am going to have for stitching.  I didn't get any done on Saturday so I made up for it on Sunday.  I stitched most of the day with a couple of breaks.  One to do redneck laundry and another for a quick run to the store for a few things we needed for the week.  I almost finished CC February.  I have very little to finish I just need a little time.  I don't think tonight is going to be the night.  I need to go to two places and get birthday presents for someone special.  Her birthday is Tuesday so you see I have already waited to the last minute.  I am glad she picked an ice cream cake because I have very little time to bake one.  I would have made the time because she is special to us.  As I write this I am thinking I might not get time tomorrow night either.  UGH! Now I am feeling frustrated.  Doesn't the stitching Gods know I am on a mission.  I have my mojo cooking on high I just need the time.  It feels kinda like a darned if you do and darned if you don't thing.  My mission may just be delayed a tiny bit.
I'm off to finish the day and then birthday shop tonight.  Shh don't tell hubby but I just might stitch in bed tonight.  Hey I desperate :)
