frustration

Sorry I did not update you sooner.  I really have been very busy.  No, we haven't been planning a wedding yet and no that's not why I am frustrated.  I'm frustrated because when you deal with people and things that can truly effect their lives you really need to keep to what you say.  I deal with this everyday.  I try very hard to treat our patients like I want a doctor's office to treat me.  Even if I don't have answer I try to call when I say I am and just update the patient.  It's not hard it is (wait for it) GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.  OMG!  I know we don't have that anymore, but yet we all want it. I am current dealing with a doctor's office and spoon feeding them the information they need to give my insurance company.  I guess it's a good thing I know insurance.  Sorry for the rant on to more important things.
I have been stitching.  I am almost done with my March stitching. I am going to have some time off in a few weeks and I think I will start a new larger project then.  I'm not quite sure what so stash digging this weekend and kitting up projects.  Speaking of digging through stash  ... I have a friend at work who's mother knits and crochets.  The mother is older and can't get around much so I packed up some nice yarn I had and was never going to use and gave it to her.  I figure it is my way of keeping  these arts going.  Have you passed along any of your stash?

Exciting Weekend

My daughter got engaged this weekend!!!  We are all very happy.  We love her boyfriend and his family.  They make a great couple.
Compared to that news the rest of my weekend was boring.  My hubby and I had a celebration dinner for our anniversary, 26 years.  We went to the Melting Pot.  We enjoy going it going there, the food is good, the atmosphere is quiet and the service is personal, of course all this means is pricey.  We only go maybe once a year.

I did not get much stitching done on Saturday.  I did however get some done yesterday.  I even finished BB Wild Clover and started CC March.  I hope to stay on my track this month.  I am not too worried because even if I don't I will get caught up soon.  I am sticking to my goals this year.  I am way ahead of last years finishes so I am happy with that.  Of course now I am thinking of working a on a wedding  piece which I should start soon and then leave the dates open for when they decide on "the day".

February stitching finished

Hello!

Last night I finally finished the stitching I had planned for February.  It was a rough month for me and stitching.  I started my March stitching so I am hoping to get caught up and be right on track.  I do have quite a few things going on this month so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
The other goals I set in January are also coming right along.  I am eating healthier and felling the effects a few pounds are gone with more to follow.  I am still writing list of things I need to get done and checking them off when they are done.  I have been positive about life and my self with the help of my hubby, daughter and son.  I have begun to notice that maybe I did raise two good people.  My children are not babies anymore and I think they are becoming good adults.  At least this week :).
That's all I know or at least all I am telling for now!

Have a great day!

Tired on Monday

My hubby and daughter went with me on a road trip this weekend.  We had great fun with some relaxing moments.  I started this trip kinda as a joke thinking my hubby would not go for it but I am so glad he did.  I really wanted to attend the In Stitches Nashville Sunday.  I'm glad I did too!  We went to the cute town of Occoquan VA, where we had lunch and shopped a little. We checked in to the hotel and took a breath. But we had more shopping to do so off to Potomic Mills Mall.  Did you know that mall is a mile long and when you get to the end you have to turn around and go back the way you came to get to your car.  If you go where your walking shoes, you will need them.  We also stopped at the Truimph dealer so that hubby would be very happy too.  My daughter loved the mall.  I am so happy we got to spend time with her.  She is so busy most days I think she doesn't even sleep.  I am sad her boyfriend had to work and could not go with us, as well as my son and his girlfriend.  But someone had to watch the dogs.  And I appreciate them for that.
I have not finished all of my February projects and have not even started my March ones.  I think I need a hermit weekend.  I am going to work really hard the week to finish up February projects.  Wish me luck.

Happy stitching!  stop by later.
