Slow July :)

I can say July has been pretty slow. I love it! We have had one big event this month. My dad's side of the family had a cookout to reintroduce each other. It was one of the nicest cookouts I have been to in a long time. I reconnected with my cousin that I had not seen in thirty years. It felt like we have always been together. I am hoping for more good times to come.

I have really been working hard on my weight loss goal. I have lost 69 pounds so far. I have been able to stop taking all of my medication. I need to buy some new clothes but I'm comfortable in my old ones. I can't seem to get over the fat girl feeling.

On my stitching side I finished Country Cottage's July and I'm working August. I have also been working on a few other projects that I started but never finished, nothing notable. I also have doing a little stash cleaning and listing some on EBay.

I want to welcome my new follower! Thanks for stopping by! :)

See you soon.

I'm back!

Hi!  I know it has been a while but I am back.  Let me catch you up.  Dalton's graduation went well.  I remember when we use to graduation was outside on the football field, now they hold them inside at the Ted Constant Center.  It was packed.  I am very proud of him!  Nikki and Bryan got married.  For the most part it went very very well.  Of course it was a very hot day down at the beach, but other than that it was a very nice day with just a wonderful crowd.  It seems very simple to write it this way.  It was a lot of work.  I am glad I did it but boy was I tired after all the excitement.  Now I trying to get back to a normal day, but I am not sure what normal is.  I did very little stitching in June.  I have been trying to work on Country Cottage's monthly cottages.  I am half way through June. I have the threads for July and August, so they should flow right along.  I am way behind on Blackbird's stockings so maybe I can get caught up this month on those too.  I started taking a yoga class about three weeks ago.  I am learning that I can do more than I thought and that is encouraging.  I have also as of this morning lost a total of 60 pounds.  I am not at my goal but I am well on my way.  About the same time I started yoga I joined the Lifestyle center.  I have been working out three times a week.  I have been going with my father first thing in the morning, I'm glad because some days like this morning I really was not interested in getting out of bed.  But knowing he was coming to pick me up I had to get out of bed and go. Well, I'm off to run errands with Grandpa and then some cleaning, with some stitching after that.  Have a GREAT day!  :)  :)
