Fabric

Hi!  I have been going through my quilting fabric.  Partly at my daughter's pushing and other from my own pushing.  After my hubby's hospital stay last month it got me thinking about many things. One of which was my stash.  I starting think what if I had to down size my home where would I put it all.  That led to will I use all of my stash.  So the last few days I spent in the closet going through my fabric.  Today after work I have a pile of fabric ready to donate.  A couple of friends suggested a few good charities so that's what I plan to do.  Now I'm going to settle in and work on The Needlework Shop.

Little bit

     Hi!
      Yesterday I spent a little bit of time stitching with a couple of wonderful ladies.  I had forgotten how nice it was to stitch with others.  I worked on CC Needlework Shop.  I was busy with quilts before Christmas so I feel a little behind on it.  After I finish blogging I'm going to work on it again today.
      The other day I started to go through my quilting fabric.  Not a huge project but no small task either.  I know what I want to keep but really have no clue what to do with the rest.  So I'm going to think on it but if you have ideas let me know.
Off to work on The Needlework Shop! :)

Needle and thread

Today I picked up needle and thread for the first time in about two weeks.  It felt great.  My hubby have spent the day doing very little.  We sat around and watched movies. Which means stitching time for me.  I hope your Christmas was full of  all the things you love.  Mine was.  My SIL is a firefighter and had to work so we did the present thing on Christmas Eve. It was a little different.  We did spend some time Christmas day at the fire station with his fire fighter family and their families.  It was very nice.  His parents, brother and grandparents were there too.  Later we had dinner with my children and my parents.

Oh I promised some pictures of what I did work on before Christmas. I made two king size quilts. One for my son and one for my daughter.  They aren't great pictures, sorry about that.

How much is too much?

I have been feeing guilty as of late. For a couple of reasons the first my daughter, she keeps telling me I have too much stash.  So I ask you how much is too much? Second reason it seems like I'm not getting much stitching done.  I have tried very hard this year to not buy stash, but it's hard. These darn designers keep putting out really great stuff.  So what's the solution?  I plan to go through my stash and put some things on eBay and again try to stitch more and buy less.  Do you have suggestions ?

12days to go

I am very sad to say I have done very little stitching.  I have done a couple of other things that you will have to wait until after Christmas to see, but you will.  I am just trying to get through the holidays quietly.
