Update

My hubby watched Monday night football last night. Yes I know it was Tuesday.  He recorded it.  He is a huge Seahawks fan. And they never play their games on TV, except Monday night football.  We also go to bed early because we get up for work before the sun gets up.  He watched I stitched both of us were happy.

Okay 'day three'

I put day three in quotes because I did start the Halloween Fairy more than three days ago.
But I have not had the time to stitch since last Monday, until yesterday.  My grandpuppies finally settled down enough for me to stitch.  Puppy sitting should not take all that much but you need to understand, my grandpuppies are three Labradors, one yellow and two black. The two black, Layla and Bella, are just over a year old. The yellow one is Maximus, the best dog ever!  If we could clone him everyone would want him. He is a very laid back, loving and we'll mannered.  Layla and Bella not so much.  They are still very much puppies, running, wrestling and very few manners.  On the good news is my daughter is working very hard and if she wasn't I don't even think about how they would be.  Okay so enough of the puppies on to stitching.  I worked very hard on the Halloween Fairy yesterday.  I also gathered a couple of other things I want to stitch.  I join a couple of new blogs. One for Country Cottage and the other for Little House.  I love both the designers.  I enjoy stitching what they design.  I may be fast at it but I enjoy it.

I heard a sad story last week that I need to share... I was talking with one of the members about how I love to cross stitch.  She said I tried that but stopped. I asked why she told me the person teaching asked to see the back side of her work.  She admitted it was messy. I said so what. But she said the teacher made her feels so bad about it, that she never picked it up again.  I asked her if before that did she enjoy it, she said yes. I told her to try it again I would help her and it doesn't matter if the back is messy or neat it is all about how you feel when you stitch.
So do you agree? Comment and let me know what you think.

Day two

Okay so I started Halloween Fairy this weekend.  I did not get to stitch much on Sunday. I did however, come home yesterday from work and bypass ALL of my chores for stitching!  It was so much fun!

Where can I find?

Another weekend is over:( gone too soon. I started the day right with a cup of coffee and stitching but some how the chores of laundry, grocery shopping and cooking took away my stitching time.  I really must find those elves that do those things for you so I can stitch all day.  Maybe next weekend I can get more stitching done:)

New start:)

I have tried to work on just one project at a time.  But the thrill of starting a new project became too much yesterday.  I started Mirabilia's Halloween Fairy.  I'm stitching it on a color called storm.  I'm pretty excited about it.  I took a picture of the little bit I got done.  The fabric is called storm.

Where does time go?

I can't believe it is the middle of October.  I have been stitching on CC Santa's village.  It's coming along.  I would like to be further along but at least I'm stitching.
So we have not decorated for Halloween yet, have you?  Todd goes all out, normally.  Last week it rained, a lot. So he was waiting for that to let up.  It did but they are calling for more this weekend so we will have to see what he does.
My plans for the weekend is....yep stitching.
