What a weekend!

Hi everyone!

I hope fall has come to you part of the world.  It has sort of here.  We always have a strange fall, cool mornings and warm afternoons.  By the time lunch comes around you almost think it's still a little summer hanging around.

This past Saturday I participated in The Race for the Cure.  I have never done anything like that before.  I was on a roll.  I enjoyed being a part of something bigger than just myself.  If you have never tried anything like this do it.  it is worth the time and effort.

I have been doing a little stash organizing lately.  I have been through all of my patterns and kits.  I still need to go through my fabric.  I just didn't seem to know what I had anymore.  I have not bought that much lately.  It just seemed to be everywhere.

I did finish Country Cottage October.  I received CC November in the mail the other day.  I pulled the threads and I am ready to go on it, just need to find a couple of minutes to start it.  Maybe after yoga tonight.  I will post an updated picture tomorrow.

HAPPY STITCHING!!!

  1. I participated in a Race for the Cure at the beach at about 3 years after... It was so emotional, moving, oh gosh, I cannot even describe it. The sheer number of survivors was awesome! And the supporters --too numerous to count! I cried when they had us go onstage and sing some song. But, it was too much of a walk for me at that time. Someday I will finish it! So how's that organizing going? I have the itch to do my charts. Maybe I will... in December, in my spare time! ha! Hugs to you!
