Okay 'day three'

I put day three in quotes because I did start the Halloween Fairy more than three days ago.
But I have not had the time to stitch since last Monday, until yesterday.  My grandpuppies finally settled down enough for me to stitch.  Puppy sitting should not take all that much but you need to understand, my grandpuppies are three Labradors, one yellow and two black. The two black, Layla and Bella, are just over a year old. The yellow one is Maximus, the best dog ever!  If we could clone him everyone would want him. He is a very laid back, loving and we'll mannered.  Layla and Bella not so much.  They are still very much puppies, running, wrestling and very few manners.  On the good news is my daughter is working very hard and if she wasn't I don't even think about how they would be.  Okay so enough of the puppies on to stitching.  I worked very hard on the Halloween Fairy yesterday.  I also gathered a couple of other things I want to stitch.  I join a couple of new blogs. One for Country Cottage and the other for Little House.  I love both the designers.  I enjoy stitching what they design.  I may be fast at it but I enjoy it.

I heard a sad story last week that I need to share... I was talking with one of the members about how I love to cross stitch.  She said I tried that but stopped. I asked why she told me the person teaching asked to see the back side of her work.  She admitted it was messy. I said so what. But she said the teacher made her feels so bad about it, that she never picked it up again.  I asked her if before that did she enjoy it, she said yes. I told her to try it again I would help her and it doesn't matter if the back is messy or neat it is all about how you feel when you stitch.
So do you agree? Comment and let me know what you think.

Happy Stitching!

Cindy

  1. OF COURSE I agree! Sure hope I don't run into someone like that teacher... hmmm... It is no one;s business what the back looks like. My opinion too! Great progress. Keep going! Hugs!
