It's another T.G.I.F.

Hi! Yes I am really saying THANK GOD ITS FRIDAY!  I have had a busy week not bad just busy.  Monday and Tuesday worked like a mad woman to clean up everything on my desk.  I think I did a pretty good job.  The only downer was I woke Monday with a little sore throat, Tuesday it was more sore, and finally on Wednesday it was on fire. Which meant on Thursday a trip to the doctor.  If you don't know me real well you may not know that three years a go I had the strep rash from head to toe.  So a sore throat to me sends me into a panic.  Yes, it really was that bad the meds to clear it up took a huge toll on me too.  But this time it was just a little throat infection.
Enough on the silly stuff on to the stitching stuff.  Last weekend my hubby and I spent some time up in Williamsburg.  We did a little outlet shopping and a little bike riding and of course I hit the cross stitch shop.
I like that shop.  The ladies are always so nice.  I did not find the things I was really looking for but I did find a few goodies. I should say we ate too.  I say this because I gained a pound.  I was not upset because like I said I ate. But on the good side I finished the Blackbird Design Seaside Retreat.  It looks pretty good now I just need to figure out if I'm going to frame it or not.  Probably frame it.  I did pick up another WIP it is not at all my favorite piece but I have seen it framed with a great mat, it's another Blackbird Design 'Peace on Earth'.  I think I keep picking it up because of the framed piece and I keep putting it down because it just doesn't do it for me.  Even if I don't finish it I am going to work on it a bit.  The more I work on it the closer it comes to the frame.  I will keep my promise to myself three finishs before a new start.  Believe me I have a few WIPs that can be finished.
My plans for the weekend were suppose to be working on a little garden behind my shed for some tomatoes.  But guess what my hubby has done it for me.  I am so happy about this a couple years ago I tried those topsy things and had NO tomatoes.  I know I can at least get a few this year.  I didn't like tomatoes for a long time then it clicked and I love fresh tomatoes.  I think my grandma would be proud.  So now I think my plans are going to be  . . . stitching of course!
